sequester.  it’s not just to isolate or hide away (something or someone).  it’s also a noun.  and it means bad, scary things!  but before you sequester yourself in your eclectic but comfortable second floor apartment overlooking the dumpster (who?  me?) learn about the sequester (the noun kind) from forbes.
