dad’s day

June 17, 2012

to question authority without being argumentative.  to dribble a basketball.  to be curious and to learn even after your learning days are over.  to value the past and plan for the future.  to recognize good music.  to save for a rainy day and find contentment in the here and now.  to stand up for myself.  to make a mess in the kitchen.  to make sugar (gummy bears, kid’s cereal) a building block of my diet.  to keep it simple.  to run.  to lead.  to always love your bonkers little family more than anything in the world.

lessons i learned from dad.

happy father’s day to my dad.  and yours, too!
