chunky monkey + cupcake = the stuff of dreams
i think tara at smells like home has been reading my mind. or my tummy.
is this the twilight zone? or just deliciousness?
meet the “i heart my chunky hubby” cupcake. modeled after ben & jerry’s delicious chunky monkey ice cream, tara whipped up this roasted banana cupcake filled with chocolate ganache and topped with a dollop of peanut butter frosting, a banana slice and a chocolate covered pretzel. this is spooky because those ingredients are what i used to sustain myself all of last week. a bunch of bananas. more peanut butter than is healthy (but it was the natural kind!). chocolate chips. and pretzels. and sometimes i mixed them all together…
chocolate chips + pretzels = chocolate covered pretzels
chocolate chips + peanut butter = desperate woman’s reese’s
banana + peanut butter = elvis is in the building
that’s my kinda math. and this is my kinda cupcake!
